Soundproofing requirements

The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) is one of the largest specialist medical colleges in Australia and New Zealand. Their boardroom, which sees heavy use, needed a solution to reduce reverberation. To achieve this, they installed Megasorber plush lightweight acoustic absorber panels.

These Megasorber meticulously designed panels were strategically placed throughout the room, serving as both functional and aesthetic elements. Their soft, plush texture absorbed sound waves, effectively minimizing reverberation. But it wasn’t just about functionality; the ANZCA team wanted an environment that inspired and invigorated. Thus, the panels were carefully adorned with a harmonious blend of colours: serene blues, pristine whites, and warm salmon tones. These hues seamlessly complemented the existing wooden accents and sleek glass features, creating a visual symphony.

The installation process was equally deliberate. The panels were directly affixed to the walls and ceiling, forming an intricate 3D pattern. As the last panel found its place, the transformation was complete. The once utilitarian boardroom had morphed into a stunning space—a testament to thoughtful design and practical innovation. But beyond aesthetics, the true magic lay in the enhanced speech clarity. ANZCA’s boardroom now resonated with purpose, where ideas flowed freely, decisions were made with precision, and collaboration thrived.

In summary, ANZCA’s boardroom, adorned with Megasorber panels, stands as a beacon of excellence—a place where medical minds converge, ideas flourish, and the echoes of progress are beautifully silenced.
