Soundproofing requirements
The acoustic design for the car park of the Berengarra Aged Care Facility requires substantial reduction of the car noise in this car park that is surrounded by many houses. The ground floor car park has a concrete floor and concrete soffits. Therefore, superior broad-band sound absorption panels are needed that can tackle low-frequency noise, such as motorbike ramble and car noise.
Aesthetically the acoustic panels blend into the existing space.
A water repellent solution is needed because some sides of the car park are open and therefore the acoustic panels will be exposed to the elements.
