Soundproofing requirements

Cutting edge netball centre, superb soundproofing

The Knox Regional Netball Centre (KRNC) is the leading netball centre in Knox. In season, over 6,000 netball players use this premier facility each week. The $15.45 million redevelopment of the Knox Regional Netball Centre includes two additional high-end indoor courts featuring Megasorber acousic ceiling panels that has resulted in state-of-the art acoustics, pleasing all participants.

More than 2,000 sqm of sound absorbing Megasorber FM50 panels were installed reducing significatly the echo and reverberation, caused by noise reflecting off the polished floorboards and large windows. The black patented acoustically tuned Soundmesh® G8 facing on the Megasorber FM50 sound absorbing panels functions well and aesthetically looks great.

The Megasorber FM50 acoustic ceiling panels have effectively reduced the reverberation / echo inside this modern, well equipped netball centre with impressive results, much to the liking of the netball players, supporters and officials.
