The soundproofing of the ceiling in Melbourne's new T4 airport terminal building had to meet these requirements:
to minimise ambient noise
to meet acoustic design requirements
appearance must be aesthetically pleasing
water repellent for easy cleaning and maintenance
easily cut to design specifications
easy to install
Megasorber P25W-RW acoustic panels were specified and installed onto the concrete soffit ceiling to provide both soundproofing and thermal
insulation. This is one of the most cost effective solutions for soundproofing in airport halls.
The product was installed with Megasorber A200 adhesive and concrete pins. J-profile edges covered two ends with shadow line between panels.

Soundproofing Project Results
The installation of Megasorber P25W-RW soundproofing panels exceeded the acoustic criteria set out by the acoustic consultant for this busy airport
terminal. The architect and all stake-holders were extremely happy and pleased with the look and the results.
